About Me

Welcome to my portfolio website! My name is Lauren, and I am a Graphic Designer based in Lancaster, PA.

Experience

  • I am an In-House Packaging Designer at the Hershey Company. I am responsible for creating and executing packaging and merchandising design solutions within a high-volume CPG environment.


    Key responsibilities include:

    • Develop and implement design for packaging and merchandising deliverables.

    • Translate existing design systems, VIS toolkits, and creative briefs into accurate, production-ready packaging layouts.

    • Execute designs across multiple SKUs, pack types, and formats while maintaining brand consistency and visual quality.

    • Work closely with Design Managers and peer designers to ensure consistency and accuracy of brand visual strategies.

    • Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners as needed to meet project objectives and timelines.

    • Contribute to improvements in tools, templates, and workflows that increase efficiency and consistency.

    • Support capability building across the in-house design team by sharing best practices and learnings.

    As a Grahpic Designer, I am responsible for designing and managing digital assets, branding, communication and packaging of products and ensuring that they align with the brand identity and strategy of the company. I work closely with the marketing and product development teams to create work that not only attracts consumers but also communicates the soul of the brand.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Developing packaging concepts and designs that effectively communicate the brand's message and appeal to the target market

    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that packaging designs align with product and marketing strategies

    • Managing the entire packaging design process from initial concept to final production

    • Conducting research and staying up-to-date with trends and best practices in packaging design and branding

    • Ensuring that packaging meets all legal and regulatory requirements, including labeling and safety standards

    The brands I am in charge of day to day are Safer Brand®, Terro®, DynaTrap®, and Havahart®.


    In addition, I also create pitch decks, GIFs, Amazon product graphics, and 3D renderings.

  • At Zen3 Infosolutions, I worked as a graphic designer. I did image analysis and annotation for creating AI.

  • In the summer of 2019, I was hired as an intern. I was tasked with helping them implement their recent re-branding. My primary job was converting their product catalogs to fit in with their new brand. This included manipulating text and images, catching mistakes from their previous catalogs, and sometimes creating exceptions. Additionally, I edited online documents for web analytics.

I have a passion for creating branding and brand assets and my portfolio showcases my work in branding, marketing, package design, and 3D rendering. Each project has been carefully designed and executed to meet the specific needs of the brands.

I believe that great design is not just about aesthetics but also about functionality and user experience. That is why I prioritize collaboration with engineers, and brand managers, and printers to understand their goals and create a unique design that effectively communicates their message.

In addition to my design skills, I am also proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft 365, 3D rendering, and have experience working with various other tools and software. I am a creative problem solver, always eager to take on new challenges and push the boundaries of what is possible.
